On October 1, a “Welcome Meeting with the University President and Newly Admitted Students of the Doctoral Programs” was held. A total of 44 students attended the meeting, including those who enrolled in April and those who had just completed the October 2025 Kanazawa University Matriculation Ceremony earlier that day.
Following a welcome speech in English by President Takashi Wada, this year’s new students had the opportunity to engage in informal conversations with President Wada, Trustee for Education Akiharu Morimoto, and the deans of each graduate school. President Wada also visited each group to personally speak with the students, and the gathering was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
